What you get from one webinar

The key points, in order

What the speakers covered, as clean slides, with options and trade-offs as tables and columns.

Numbers and quotes

The numbers shown on the day, and a quote when a speaker stated a position clearly, attributed by name.

What the audience asked

Keep the Q&A section and it's recapped with the rest of the session, so the questions people asked aren't lost.

A follow-up email draft

A plain-text email built from the same recording, ready to edit and send to attendees.

How it works

1

Download the recording

Save the webinar recording from your webinar platform as a file. Platform share links don't work; the file does.

2

Keep the talk and the Q&A

The recording is split into timestamped topics. Uncheck the housekeeping and the waiting-room chat.

3

Pick “Meeting recap”

Get the recap deck and the email draft, edit any slide, and download PowerPoint.

What a webinar follow up email should include

Most webinar follow-up templates cover the thank-you and the replay link. The hard part is the middle: the two or three points worth repeating, the number people will remember, and the answers to the questions that came up. That part means going back through the recording.

Nobody forwards a replay link with a 'thanks for coming' on top. They forward the slide with the number on it. The Meeting recap deck pulls the key points, numbers and quotes out of the recording, and the email draft is built from the same material, so the follow-up says what the webinar actually covered.

If you recorded video, you can add frames from the video to the slides, such as the speaker's key slide on screen: a single frame or a 2 to 4 frame montage, up to 6 per deck.

A recap for attendees, and for the people who missed it

The recap covers the topics in the order they came up, so the same deck works for people who were there and people who missed it. The email comes as one draft; for no-shows, edit a copy so it leads with the replay and the one point they missed.

On Pro, you can share the deck as a view-only web link that opens without an account, and put that link in the email instead of an attachment. Shared pages aren't indexed by search engines, and you can stop sharing anytime.

Running a webinar series? Pro can combine 2 to 10 recordings, up to 6 hours in total, into one deck that shows the patterns across sessions, how often each came up, and quotes attributed to each session.

Uploaded recordings are automatically deleted about 24 hours after upload, and generated files after 30 days. We don't train on your files.

When unfill.io isn't the right tool

It works from the recording after the webinar. There's no Zoom, Meet or Teams integration, no webinar platform integration, and no live recording, so it can't take notes during the session or pull your registrant list.

It doesn't send the email either. You get a plain-text draft to paste into your email tool, and an editable PowerPoint, not a PDF. Files can be up to 500MB, so for a long video webinar, upload an audio-only version of the recording.

Questions

Does it connect to Zoom or my webinar platform?

No. There's no webinar platform integration and no live recording. Download the recording as a file and upload it after the webinar.

Can it write separate emails for attendees and no-shows?

It writes one follow-up email draft from the recording. Edit a copy for no-shows so it leads with the replay link and the key point they missed.

What if my webinar recording is over 500MB?

Upload an audio-only version of the recording, such as an M4A or MP3 file. The recap is built from what was said, so audio is enough.

Can I share the recap deck with attendees?

On Pro, yes: create a view-only link that opens without an account and put it in the email. You can also download the PowerPoint and attach it.

What files work?

MP3, MP4, MOV, WAV, M4A, WebM, AAC, and OGG, up to 500MB. You can also paste a direct link to a file, including Loom download links. YouTube, Zoom, and Meet share links are web pages, so download the recording and drop it instead.

Can I edit the deck?

Yes. Edit any slide in the browser, ask Claude to rewrite it, then download a normal PowerPoint file you can change however you like.

What happens to my recording?

It is used only to build your deck and is automatically deleted about 24 hours after upload. We do not train AI models on your files.

How much does it cost?

Try 2 decks free, no card required. Pro is $19/month or $180/year for 30 decks a month, combining up to 10 recordings into one deck, and share links.

Dad joke break

Why did the webinar recording feel lonely?

The webinar ended an hour ago. The follow-up can go out before the replay goes cold.
